Bearhawk Patrol in the back country

The Patrol was the second Bearhawk design to take flight. A sweet roomy, two-seat aircraft built for adventure. Enjoy cruise speeds not seen by any other aircraft in this class, while being able to land just about anywhere. Want to fly on the water? Float options are available. The patrol makes a fantastic adventure plane carrying two people and gear to any remote location with enough range to get home. Go fast, go slow, and do it all in a comfortable airplane that flies like an airplane should.

A Bold New Design

While the patrol may give a passing resemblance to a cub, it is so much more. The Patrol is a clean sheet design, providing unmatched performance in its class. The Patrol offers a true aluminum signal strut wing, massive flaps, a modern Ribblet airfoil, oil dampened suspension, and generous cabin space all while maintaining the highest cruise speed in class. With a patrol you will burn 20% less fuel at cub speeds or open it up and climb to see true airspeeds of 150+mph.

Utility and Comfort

The Patrol offers the largest cabin in its class. With a width of 32 in, you will not find a more roomy aircraft of this size. The baggage door provides easy entry to the baggage compartment, allowing for access to whatever you may need to bring. With a cabin length of 9ft 5 in and a wide CG range, you can fit everything you need for an adventure.

Speed Where It Matters

The Patrol boasts the ability to cruise at 4x its stall speed. There are not very many aircraft capable of this performance. You will have the ability to land where you want and cruise home at 140+ mph. The picture seen is a 180hp Patrol on 31in tires at a 65% economy cruise doing 133mph true airspeed.
